JFK Spotting 2/16/08

Hello,

Anyone into meeting up on Saturday for some spotting out at JFK? The forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies. It is supposed to be cold and windy, but sunny. I am planning on going out around noon or so, hopefully to Firestone if they are using 31R.

If you're there around 9:15, could you get a shot of my departing flight? I'm on DL 5506 from JFK to BOS...CR-9!

Not sure if anyone will be shooting departures tomorrow afternoon, but if you're out and happen to get a shot of DL147 departing to ATL at around 4:30, I'll be on her (in biz class!)

Got out for a little while today - got to Firestone around Noon, of course, I missed Jet Airways again :(
Spent a little time then went off to take care of a few things before heading back. Found Mike (Bellucciman) at Firestone and did some shooting with him.

Haven't caught this one in a while.

Another Firestone Bank Shot...the RJ before him made some S-turns for spacing, causing this guy to go around.

I keep getting the EK 777, first time I've seen the A340 in a while.

D'oh!

This guy passed overhead after departing 31L.

Nice shots, Brian. Sorry we missed you - Mike and I were down right next to the Firestone building. I usually don't park that far down, but that's where I found him when I got there.

You guys were clearly out there at the same time...you both got the KLM MD-11 and the Emirates A340, and those are definitely once-a-day visitors :)

Moose, I'm surprised about the Air Jamaica A340...I thought they stopped sending those to JFK...

My first time out since October! It was great hanging out with Moose, definitely been a long time!
