Another Sat Morning of 22 Departures at LGA Sat Feb 2

For anyone interested the Port plans to close LGA Runway 13-31 for construction this Saturday Feb 2nd from 0001L to 1600L. Forecast calls for clear to mostly sunny and westerly winds so LGA should be up and down Runway 22, if anyone wants to hit Planeview Park.

    Regards

Nice, thanks for the heads up.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Nice! I'm still not sure I'm going to be out tomorrow, but if I am, I'll definitely hit up Planeview. (Note to self: Remember to bring the directions this time!)

I was planning on heading out to JFK to spot on Saturday, but may come to planeview in the morning then heading over to JFK in the afternoon instead. If anyone is into rolling to JFK let me know for sure. Take care, Brian

I just called LGA ATIS and they're landing & departing 31 with 4/22 closed, so it looks like Port changed their mind.

Yeah folks I want to apologize, I was off yesterday so I did not get the updated update from the Port, I guess with the forecasted winds they chose to play it safe with 31 ops instead. But they do have planned work so they will probably try again the next Saturday with acceptable weather.

Again Sorry for the false alarm and enjoy your Saturday
