    From the roof of LGA to the Roof of my House

    So here are a few shots from my house as well as the top of the tower. I am enjoying my new lense alot in otherwords.

    Brian I am shooting with a 75-300 AF in those pictures. I am still learning the finer points of how it works on my camera as well as the need to edit lol. :mrgreen:

    You're back on your roof....? Good god you really are going for that Darwin award, LOL Ryan I'd speed up your shutter, your moving shots at LGA are blurry indicating your shutter is far to slow. In that kind of light I'd be using 500th of a second with ISO 200.

    when i was a kid/teen in jersey, the high altitude jfk arrivals ghosted in over my casa,along with a steady stream of lga outbounds (727 heaven), and lower altitude ewr arrivals, i would sit there back in the 70's ,with spotting scope,binos,and scanner, a total geek, 30 years later i havn't changed much, and i still love this thing of ours. your mentioning spotting from your roof brought it all back. cheers amigo.
    The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
