    JFK 1/3 (Birthday Spotting)

Let me first start off by saying I had by far the best birthday I have had in my 16 years of life. I spent the whole day at JFK in some absolutely gorgeous clear weather. I caught some aircraft that I had really hoped to catch and even one or two surprises. I also have to say that I think today I took some of the best photographs I have taken since I started photography.

Headed on down to Howard Beach this morning for departures from 10am-2pm and then headed over to Firestone for some afternoon arrivals.

The light was just fantastic today.

    Please enjoy!

Some funny conversation I heard on the scanner today:

"What aircraft did you say was in front of me?"
    "A heavy Airbus A300"
"Oh haha, I thought you said a heavy Airbus A380!"
"Not year but come October 1st!"
    "Oh wow that's soon!"

The Cathay looks great from HoBe. You got a nice grab of the Titan as well.
