Was bouncing around the last few days, and took a ride to Robert Moses State Park a couple of days ago. Fire Island has a sizable deer population, and they are quite comfortable around people.

i remember them from when i was a kid. my parents used to take me out there back in the day, was the first real "wildlife" i encountered. must have been around 9 or 10, and i know there are pix around here somewhere.
i do have these shots from Big Sur, CA:
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
