So a brief survey, do you iron your cloths or use a steamer? I use to iron but I can't stand ironing...its the most horrific waste of time. So a few months ago I went out and bought a steamer, yes like the ones you see on TV but better, lol. Man I have to tell you this thing works so much better then an iron, its faster, takes the wrinkles out quickly and leaves my cloths feeling fresh.

Tom, the reason why women have such small feet is so that she can be closer to the ironing board. The steamer you hand and freehand so there is lots of footroom. This is why women are better at Ironing and you like the steamer much better.

I'm all about ironing. I actually enjoy it...getting it all perfect, every square inch. I used to starch the hell out of my shirts, especially the collars, but I eased off of that a bit after I nearly cut my wrist on the crease in a pair of dockers a few years back.

Tommy is right, Steaming is better. I iron my work stuff since I have to have the professional look when I am working. It's bad enough I work at a jewish club and everyone is wearing the black micro pants and black short sleeve mock turtlenecks even in the summer, both pressed sharp as razors. I refuse to wear them when it's hot but my shirts have to be pressed. with an iron. In the winter when I am out here I just bring the steamer and do my stuff on the fly. So much easier.

Well, I AM actually a fabulous ironer....thanks to the ARMY. I hate to break it to you though: I have rather large feet (size 10! <--womens, remember), so your theory doesn't hold.
Also, as Phil mentioned, he's a great ironer too, and loves to do it. I don't iron much (I take anything that would require pressing to the dry cleaner), but when something needs ironing, I usually have HIM do it ;)
glad i'm not the only one to learn that lesson. i iron, but only dress shirts and slacks. anyone here iron jeans though?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
I iron jeans if they come back from the wash extremely wrinkled and I'm wearing them to something that requires looking a little cleaner.
The question is...who gets their jeans DRY CLEANED?

That stuff is awesome. It was hard to find for awhile, but Target seems to have a good supply of it these days.
I also highly recommend Brooks Brothers No-Iron shirts. They are a bit more expensive but the time you save is well worth it.
I don't mind ironing shirts so much, but I can't stand ironing dress pants. I simply can't get the crease straight, even if there's a good crease already in there I mess it up.

I <3 wrinkle releaser. That's probably why I don't have to iron the items that don't go to the dry cleaner. I even use that stuff on my curtains.
