SiCKO (Michael Moore's Health Insurance Film)

I recently saw SiCKO, and for the people that have also seen the movie, there are elements of the film that are probably overstressed. Even so, I support many aspects of the film. What made me think to bring this topic up? A response to Moore from Fred Thompson:

    I <3 Thompson.

    Excellent response.

As I've said before, I used to be a big Michael Moore fan, but he lost his mind after 9/11/01, and takes advantage of today's sensitive issues to make himself famous. I hope no one still believes he's an "everyday" American just because he doesn't shave and wears a baseball cap. Although, I guess I fall in that category, too. lol

Micheal Moore is an idiot. He is just like Nancy Grace with his ambush style journalism. If you think the US should have the same health care system as Canada, France and Cuba that is fine but it won't happen. Sure we need more afforable health care for more people but Moore's stance is not the answer.

Moore isn't an idiot. He's actually fairly intelligent. Too intelligent for his own good. And he's an egomaniac. He started out trying to do good, but then he got addicted to fame and started with his hysterical blathering. Now, the extreme left doesn't listen to him because he sold out, and the moderate left doesn't listen to him because he makes them look bad. And Fred Thompson responding to him only encourages him. :P

One of my former coworkers actually lives in the same building as Moore, as he lives in Manhattan. Now, this woman is a member of the Green Party and one of the most leftist people I've ever met. She's a socialist, bordering on communist. So, you'd think she'd support Moore, right? Absolutely not! Moore has a lousy reputation in his building of being a jerk to everyone. She had nothing but bad things to say about the guy.
