ATA brings DC10 back into schld service for a bit.

Saw this scrolling at airliners.net and reconfirmed it at ATA.com

I see this being a little xmas present for Phil and Mel? hehe

Only on the LAX-HNL segment however.

Book a WN to LAX, connect to ATA via LAX and ride a DC10 for old times sakes LAX-HNL!

Seems to be around the Holidays for now.

Who would have thunk of seeing a WN codeshared DC10 in this life time :?

Man I would love to ride on a DC-10! I never got the opportunity to.... Unfortunately somebody doesn't have any money!

Hey Phil, why don't you use part of the vast sums of money that NYCAviation has made you (Folks, were talking millions here) to take the entire NYCA group on the flight??? ;)

As I've told a few people before, my dream is to charter an L-1011 for a spotting trip around the world.

    One day. Maybe. haha

Phil, is that to charter an L1011 just for you and Mel to do a trip around the world or to sell it as an NYC Aviation round the world trip?

If it's the latter, I can maybe make it happen. I have a few contacts in the charter world!

Well, according to my vision, it would be all expenses paid. Down the road when it can be paid for.

Also keep in mind I work for a charter airline myself. I'd probably get fired for chartering with someone else.

Although, an ATA L-1011 might be tempting.

But Phil, we don't want you to get fired.... I won't complain if you get us a 767 ;)

i'd take the TDY just to fly a KC!!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
