    Nov 2 & 3rd NYC Tour

    Hi,
Spotted with the friendly ATC guy from Singapore. Heres few of the pics. After 6am wakeup call, we hit the Beach for banking shots that he came here for all the way from other side of the globe.

After a brief pause with the authorities we continued on to more important tasks at hand.

This was then catch of the day for me :D

And just when the big three are taxing ofcorse its the time to change the rwy :x So after the mad dash to Bayswater... we catch the first one lifting off...

This one follows me everywhere I go :) . In last 30 days spotted her at KORD, KLAX and now lifting off 13R.

First time in city, so hopped onto A Train and off we went into Manhattan.

The 42nd Street glow! And GW Bridge.

Can see the Brooklyn and Verazano's Bridges

Sat AM we hit FBF as its cloudy and windy.

Having witnessed 4 daily SST movements at Kennedy for years... I still am in shock. This magnificent flying maching is tied down with cement blocks and is just left out in the elements :x

Nice acid rain treatment being applied for preservation of history

Few from Hanger B. My friend took 300+ pics there!

Closing out the 2 days trip...
DL75 over ELIZA calling out to EWR TWR.

All in all it was 2 great days spent in the city. In a way it was good wx was not sunny otherwise he would have had a singular experience and be at Kennedy for both days. He rested by sleeping 1/2 the flying time on the way back on SQ21 (A345).

Excellent shots Raj! That TNT is one that many of us have been wanting to get.

Glad you got to enjoy the city, too. That second shot from the Empire State Building though is showing the Queensborough Bridge as the closest (bottom right), the Triboro on the left, and the two others in the background are the Whitestone and Throgs Neck, respectively. Your view there was facing northeast, whereas the Brooklyn and Verrazano are to the southeast from the ESB Observatory. If during daylight, LGA would be seen in that photo as well!

    Thanks for sharing.

    Yeah, great pics!
I really like the shot of the Statue of Liberty with what looks to be a blackhawk.

Yes that is an awesome shot. From the looks of it, the long nose (!) I wonder if it is a USCG HH-60
    Jayhawk?
