    UAL 757 with Winglets

Keep your eyes open for N517UA which now has winglets and will be flying to JFK as she is a PS 757. Today is her first day operating with winglets but the WX is not helping anyone today.

I think I have the honor of saying I was the first NYCA member to see the aiplane though I did not photograph it. I saw it inbound to JFK on the ferry while it was on final over my house.

the winglet reminds me of N737M, which spent a few days in UAL's hangar at LGA for mx reasons. i could honestly care less for the rest of the scheme.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

I've never really been a fan of any of United's liveries. Especially the orange one. *shudders*

WHAT!!! How dare thee bash a classic livery! I'm making a new forum rule even though I'm not a mod this rule will stand! No bashing the classics! The orange livey just screamed the late 70s and 80s. Now ban yourself for 30 days, lolol ;) I wasn't a fan of UAL's new colors at first but they've grown on me and it really does look great on the larger planes.

how's it look better on bigger planes tommy? you've got a huge white fuselage, contrasting with a dark blue belly and little "UNITED" titles at the very front. talk about boring! it looks like leftover paint was used to make that, or the designer was just out of ideas.. C"MON!!

I LOVED the Old Orange livery, It was an all around solid livery to me.

The Grey....I like it.but not as much as the Orange.

New Blue? I dislike it completely.

and that has made all the difference......yet...
