I'll finally have a chance to do some LAX spotting this afternoon or tomorrow.
- Where is the famed In N Out Burger?
-- What runways need to be in use to shoot there?
-- What times are good for shooting?
- Are there any other good spots?
Thanks!

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Here you go Matt, its just North of the curve with the red roof. Best time of year now is late late afternoon, its great for sunset shots. You'll see a park directly across from Inn and Out where most people shoot from. The runways on the North side are always in use as well as the southside runways. LAX uses all four runways all the time.
In N Out located on sepulveda blvd, north end of the airport. Runway 24R/L
Good for sunset shots this time of year.
Imperial Hill-> Southside of airport, take Sepulveda blvd South through tunnel underneath Runway 25L/R. Merge onto Imperial Hwy, turn left on main st, turn left on imperial ave. Imperial Hill overlooks departure end of 25L/R
Eric
It's hard to take chances but sometimes it's better if you do
