Riyad ? Jeddah ? Medina ? No no, Paris ^^

Paris Orly, June 20th, 2007, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz makes on official visit, and as usual with many aircraft lol Saudi Arabia = one prince, one aircraft  Photos :

First aircraft arrives, landing RWY26, Royal Saudi Air Force A340-213 HZ-124 (ex-The World Ranger F-WWBA), sorry for heat haze

Second one, Saudi Arabian Airlines 747-468 HZ-AIW, luckily she takes last taxiway

Third one, Ministry of Finance 737-7FG(BBJ) HZ-MF1

Fourth one, Saudi Arabian Royal Flight 757-23A HZ-HMED, a flying hospital, very rare !!

The royal aircraft, 747SP HZ-HM1B landed RWY24 so no photo. But we went into the terminal and we had her when she left VIP terminal to the stand, sorry no light  Another very rare Saudi aircraft, normally the King flies with 747-3G1 HZ-HM1A, but she's at HAM for maintenance

    Just to show anti-missiles systems

    Another of HZ-124

Nice and rare line-up, with HZ-HMED, Saudi Arabian Special Flight Division Gulfstream IV HZ-AFU, HZ-HM1B and HZ-AIW.

Another great day at ORY 8)

Great shots, Stefane. Thanks for sharing. :borat:
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Looks like the SP had a Missle Defense system installed. I dont recall seeing that before on that aircraft.

That's what I say lol "Just to show anti-missiles systems". HM1B is a king's aircraft, replaced by the 743 HM1A. One of their Tristar (HM5) had also such system.

It's neat to see a G-IV in Saudi Arabian colors. Great stuff, thanks for sharing.

Stephane great shots, I love the one with the collection of Saudi birds all together. Anyone know why the forward part of the 757 seems to look like its cargo?

This aircraft is a flying hospital, so very special cabin I guess.

i love that when the saudis travel they bring so much classic metal with them! makes me with they still had the G-II with tuna tanks flying for them! also, can't go wrong with a Pratt-powered 757! lovely shots!!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Believe it or not there are actually some ex-TWA guys flying those birds for the Air Force! Now that Saudi Arabia is getting bigger in Aviation and collecting their own national pilots those TWA guys are going to Mainstream SA Airlines.

Nice what sitting on 20% of the world's oil production can buy! And how ironic that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the major backer of Birthright Israel (aka the Custodian of the Las Vegas Sands) are both 747SP enthusiasts...
