    JFK 9/17 Bayswater

Well Tony Russo made his return to JFK today as we trekked out to Bayswater for some morning arrivals. This location has some of the best conditions and we enjoyed them with John Toomey who arrived shortly after us.

The Thai def benefits from the soft light.

    Ethiad as well.

We were hoping the SCY arrival from MSP was the new 811 with the anniversary logo but it was 810 SCY's other new bird.

We headed to Hobe for some departures but the sun and runways went to crap so we bagged it. Tony was excited to shoot and is looking forward to more this fall.

Nick, that Etihad shot is honestly among the best caught yet at JFK. Good work.

Nick, I would have run into you except I had to get some sleep :D after the day before. (bit bummed as they were using 31s on 16th.) With fall I am bound to make more trips.
    Love your shots.

those four-hole busses look pretty good in the morning light...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
