My Nickname

Well, due to an unfortunate encounter with a box opener's blade last week across my left index and middle fingers, my supervisor and boss had to do paperwork for it (a new concept since in the military it's usually just "...here's a bandaid, suck it up, goodbye..."). Anyway, I broke my department's 1,400+ days free streak of an on-the-job injury and walked into work today and saw I had a received a new nickname. My desk's nameplate was replaced with...

...Slash! How cool is that?

By the way, I'm healing nicely and it was fairly superficial.

Like I said, fairly superficial but all the guys here at work will no doubt let the nickname wound stay! :-) It's all in good fun though, I kind of like it to be honest.
