I finally got around to editing my LAX shots from the last week in July. While LAX always provides a great variety of aircraft this was the most diverse from aircraft type and special colors. Enjoy.

Great shots Tommy, you got some great stuff there. So what airport has more international carriers, JFK or LAX?

Wow, I was actually wondering this morning when you were going to post these shots because Josh was telling me about the day and it sounded great.
You got some great catches there Tommy and I love the Varig Log DC-10 in new colors and that World MD-11, great shots!
WOW! you got N88ZL! nice job bro. how far from you was that malaysian 744?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
Tommy, love the shots. Always enjoy seeing the Eva Air Cargo and China Southern 777. Did you catch the Eva Air 777 while you were out there? Your shots make me want to go back to LAX. It is so much fun spotting out there and the other spotters are quite friendly too. Take care, Brian
Nice shots Tom.
I always enjoy seeing a nice montage of images and not just a plug ***** fest. ;)
The first image is just brillaint in every sense of the word. Next time I hit the west coast, I am definitely going to have to spend a few days and spot with the family. (Gosh, now its a family affair)
One question... what sort of construction is being done on the Encounters Restaurant building? Looks like a cross between a lego set and erector set right now as opposed to the sweeping curves we are used to seeing.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Wow, amazing shots!!!! I love the 707.
nwa FOREVER!
Love the LAX shots, as usual...so many Asian airlines I've never heard of :)
What's the story with the China Airlines 747 in Boeing colors? Is there some significance, or does it just look cool?
Nice shots Tommy, gotta love the 707 and NW 74 classic freighter. And continuing the swinging '60s theme, I also have to ask, do you know what's going on at the Theme Building? Sure hope it's just for some renovation work, that place is as much of an icon of the early jet age as ZL.
