it was a pretty big deal apparently, delaying the arrival of one of my coworkers by over an hour.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Police Close JFK Employee Parking Lot After Bomb Threat

NEW YORK (AP) -- Police shut down an employee parking lot at John F. Kennedy airport Monday after receiving a bomb threat -- but no explosives were found.

Marc Lavorgna, a spokesman at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, says the warning of a vehicle packed with explosives was called in anonymously Monday afternoon. He says police narrowed down which vehicle the caller was referring to, then shut down the employee lot. A bomb squad team determined there were no explosives at around 5:30 p.m.

No air passengers were effected by the incident. Lavorgna says police are trying to determine who called in the threat.
