    Encounter with an A310-203

Hey guys, as you may know, there was a FedEx A310 at the Willow Run Airshow, I decided to make a new topic because these really aren't airshow pics, rather they are just of the A310.

    Fedex A300-203 N413FE
    MFR date: 1986
    Engines: GE CF6-80

Closeup with the engine (I actually sat in it)

Picture taken while sitting in the engine, it was funny because there was a 18kt wind, so the blades were spinning at a moderate speed :D

Wheels, again, I sat on that too (I like sitting :D)

Note my camera bag sitting under the plane

Attempted to jump and touch the wing... I failed... what can I say, i'm white! :D

In the back of the LOONG line, although I am glad to see such enthusiasm still exists for commercial aviation (especially since there were 2 A-10's right next to it, and they didn't have lines...)

    Cargo hold:

Fellow spotter and good friend (he actually brought me this day) sitting in the right seat, as I am in the left.

    Cockpit:

It was an awesome experience!!! Hope you guys enjoy the photos!

    Nice shots Matt.

I did the same thing as you at the McGuire Air Show in NJ (aahh sadly the day my DSLR died). I did the tour of the KC10 Tanker. I felt like a little kid wanting to jump into the left seat! It was a lot of fun.

I'm still amused at the fact that Fed Ex had a sign up in front of the aircraft that said A300-600F!

I'm also amused that you thought she was an A300-600F, but it's ok I know how much of a Boeing guy you are. ;)

You got some nice shots nonetheless!

Gotta love those guppies. I would take a job flying those things anyday. I would of course wear a parachute just in case that rudder goes fruity on me. Oh and awesome shots Matt. Glad you got those. Is that fellow in the right seat a Anet or JP shooter?

Thanks guys, it was pretty sweet!

Nah, hes not a Anet or JP shooter.... Yet. He doesn't quite have his editing down 100% so he hasn't gotten any up yet.
