    Happy 4th of July!

I wanted to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July. This is the first 4th of July Holiday I've missed as I'm out of the country right now. Remember when you celebrate the 4th of July you’re celebrating our struggle for Freedom 231 years ago.

Today we are once again fighting for that same freedom, we’re fighting for the American Way of life. Regardless of what some say our way of life is about justice, choice, happiness, equality, freedom, and peace. Remember that when you get together with your family and friends and raise the flag of our country proudly on OUR Independence Day!

    God Bless America

Tommy, you hit it dead on. Just please remember our soldiers out on the battlefield today. They are fighting for your freedom and mine, whether or not you agree with the war.

Happy fourth of July to everyone. I agree with tommy and I hope everyone takes a moment to realize what this date is actually significant for as unfortunealtely most in this nation have lost sight.

I really wish people read and knew more about our nation's birth and the signing of the "DOI" so they could really appreciate it and how it applies today.

Like the myth about how John Hancock signed the Declaration of Independence extra-large because he wanted "to be sure King George could read it!" The truth is that Hancock was 23 feet tall and merely signed in his normal fashion.

Have a Happy Holiday folks! Please be safe!

Remember, kids, fireworks are always more fun when you shoot them out of your hat:
