First Post, Long time follower of site

Let me introduce myself, My name is Chris, and I have been following the site for a long time. When I discovered this site it was almost a relief to know that others shared the same love for commercial aviation as I did. My home is directly under the JFK 22L ILS and a little west of the Visulal/VOR approach. My love for aviation started when my father used to take me to Rockaway Blvd, the little indent in the fence, and sit there for hours watching the planes just before touchdown. I also live under the rarely used LGA ILS 31 approach. I do own a DSLR and I hope to share the photos that I take from time to time. I am new to posting photos so if they don't show up give me a little time.

Hello and welcome! I live on the 13 L Canarsie approach in Howard Beach we both have a great spotting location from our homes!

Hi Chris, welcome to NYCA! I grew up in Elmont (right behind St Vincent de Paul Church) and got to see some of the same sights you have here (well, back then it was 707s and 727s with some L-1011s and 747s for a change of pace)

Looking forward to seeing more of your shots - we may have to have a spotting party in your backyard :D

Chris, welcome to the NYCA family and I am glad you finally joined up with us to partake. I would say that your shots have potential certainly. Criticisim aside it is good to have you aboard and I hope you will be a great contributor to the site.
