    IAD June 11 - departures

    Hi All,

Few shots from today at IAD. Last picture (PACE 757) was flying as a replacement for MaxJet from London.
One question. Is Austrian still flying to JFK?

    Enjoy.

Really nice departure shots, Rafal! The A340-600 action is great along with the Air France 777-300ER and nice catch of Iberia who started on June 2nd.

Yes its operated by Pace but it also is used to transport the Dallas Mavericks basketball team, which is where the DM comes from. If you look on the winglet you can see the team's emblem on it. It used to have the emblem on the tail as well but was removed sometime last fall. Here's a shot of it before.

It looked especially good with the emblem on the tail.

Yes, we still get Austrian at JFK, but not the 777; just 767 these days.

    Nice Shots.
