Newark (EWR), Sao Paulo (GRU), and Salvador (SSA) Pictures

I left last Thursday night for a 5 day trip to Salvador, Brazil located in Northern Brazil. The purpose of the trip was due to a conference my mother had to attend there and I was lucky enough to tag along. We flew Continental down on a 767-200 and then transfered to GOL but ended up missing our connection so we had a 6 hour-layover at GRU and I ended up doing some spotting but the weather was not great so I neglect to post those shots. Once in Salvador we met up with Josh May who was joining us on the trip. On Sunday we headed out to the Salvador Airport for some local Brazilian spotting and found a great spot at the airport. We waited around till night to get a night shot of the TAP A330-200 but she did not hold. The next day we decided on revenge and headed out to the airport only to catch 3 beauties at night. The GRU pics were taken yesterday during our layover in Sao Paulo.

Please enjoy and feedback is welcome!

    Obrigado!

As Gordon said, we had a great time. Salvador was as exciting as I thought it would be...such an awesome place! I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to join Gordon and his mom. :D

My routing was LAX-MIA-GRU-SSA, and return, SSA-GRU-DFW-LAX. For anyone wondering, GOL is a great airline!! Here are a couple that I shot...

    Great shots.
I think the 727 and 707 are best.
You guys got to use a tripod too at dusk/night???
