    Rafal,

Awesome, awesome shots...you're making me actually miss when I lived in Washington! lol :P

I'm so jealous that you got the Austrian A340 Philharmoniker and SAS A340s. The OS A340s are rare enough, and to get the Philharmoniker ontop of that?! WOWW...

You sure do have some good luck there, buddy! Keep up the great work.

We had around 8-10 of them + KC-10s, C-5s, C-40s and many more. Andrews AFB was closed for military traffic last Friday, Saturday and Sunday so we've got most of their flights at IAD.
Its like that every year in May.

    andrew's afb air show.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Rafal, those are awsome catches! THanks for sharing. Jaw dropped when I saw OE-LAL. Does that fly in only with the Philharmonic or is it used in normal pax service?
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Its used for regular service. Thats the only remaining A340 in Austrian fleet. The other A340-300 is all white and parked at Zurich airport awaiting delivery to Swiss. If you want to catch it you have time until mid June when this bird will leave Austrian for good.
