    Will These be Accepted?

    Hey,

I'm by no means new to aviation, but I'm new to digital photography (just got my camera at Christmas), and I was wondering if these photos had a chance at JP.net. I figured you guys are the experts. Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.

Have you put these thru photoshop? They need to be cropped closer. If you want, you can email me the original pictures and I can edit them for you.

Those photos most certainly have some potential. A little PS work and you should definitely get some acceptances.

Pic 1. Appears blurry and dark, won't get accepted.
Pic 2. Needs to be cropped tighter, there's to much room on either side.
Pic 3. Looks good, again crop it tighter.
Pic 4. This pic is better then Pic 3, I'd sharpen it up a bit more and use this one vs Pic 3.
Pic 5. Needs to be cropped much tighter, otherwise looks good.
Pic 6. Backlit to death, no saving it.
Pic 7. Needs to be sharpened and cropped tighter.
Pic 8 Look backlit to me.
Pic 9. Try to brighten the nose area up a bit.
Pic 10. Best of the bunch, however I'd sharpen it.

If your cropping, use 1024x683 in your crop tool setting.

With the exception of the last pic all of these have major lighting, quality and blur issues even if you improve the crop. Next time you shoot make sure the subject is fully lit and keep the camera steady and shoot in a mode that gives you the proper shutter as well.
