Hi everyone,
So, as we all know there's going to be the run going on on 13R/31L this Sunday. Clearly, that runway will be closed during the hours of the race. I might be interested in spotting that day and I have a few questions I'm hoping some of yall can shed some light on...
Does anyone know if the runway ops for Sunday are predetermined due to the race? Because that was the kind of vibe I was getting from reading the thread about the race in the General Aviation forum...but, to be honest, it really baffles me how runway ops can be dictated by a race as opposed to the wind factor!!!!!
Also, I was wondering, once the race ends, how quickly will operations resume on 13R/31L..(i.e. is it possible/probable the 13s or 31s will be in use during daylight hours on Sunday?)
Thanks for any info...Your responses will help me figure out whether it would be a nice day to go spotting or not; I know the weather will be great!
