Very cool, has anyone here flown with them? Would be interested in thoughts/opinions on the service.

From what I've heard they are pretty good, I'd take a Eurofly A330-200 to Rome over an Alitalia, American, or Delta 767-300 any day!

Ive heard news from Italy that Eurofly will be leaving the charter business to concentrate on more Mediterrenean destinations. Its unknown whether this will ultimately effect the JFK routes, since they are officially considered "charter" routes. Eurofly has been losing money and their auditors refused to sign off on their latest accounting numbers. Despite their good loads on their JFK routes, the 330s arent profitable for them.

Sad they can't make money, considering that summer fares to Italy can be rather high. I guess they just don't have any economies of scale as a small operator.

Also, Eurofly's new owner, Italian carrier Meridiana will be entering OneWorld, so expect Eurofly to follow suit. Alitalia will also have a new owner in a few months as well ;)

I think the A319CJ was only for the MiMA service which has been discontinued, so not likely to see it here again unfortunately.

    MiMA?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

It was an ultra premium business class product. Sort of like EOS but with an A319.
