    Blackhawks Over Queens

Saw about 7 or 8 Blackhawks in formation flying east over my house about an hour ago. WTF?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Probably just the NY Air National Guard doing their weekend exercises.
I caught them about 4pm while hitting golf balls in Deer Park, they were heaed towards Islip which is where the ANG helos are based. They were still in formation too.

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Yes there was 6 and I did get pictures...nothing worth posting. Flew over 110 just south of the LIE towards McArthur

I was out spotting at N40 and saw them pass by. I got a quick pic.

Nothing much I know, like Fred said. Just wanted to add a little visual stimulation. :)

Whoa now, the Army's 60's are at Islip. The ANG helo's are based at Westhampton Beach. I don't think that was us.
