    Tamron v. Canon lenses

I'm looking at purchasing a Canon 350D bundle off eBay and I noticed that there are some with both 18-55mm and 75-300mm lenses. Except one pack has Tamron lenses and the other comes with Canon. Which would you recommend?

Well its really a toss up, it sounds like the Canon glass is there entry level line, correct me if I'm wrong. The Canon entry level and the Tamron are pretty much onpar with each other. I'd go with the Canon glass in the end.

Flyboy, I personally would go with Canon but everyone is different. I have owned Tamron lenses as well. Be careful because there is a 75-300mm Canon with IS and one w/o IS. There is like a $400 difference between the two. Ask on ebay about that before biding.
