Yet another newbie for SFB! Thomas Cook A330

I just can't get a break from these planes! :)
Heres yet another New SFB arrival. Seasonal visitors hit SFB at different times though out the year the Thomas Cook just started SFB this week. I'm sure Rich knows if they have been in around this time every year.
One small blasted cloud blocked the darn sun so I'll have to try again!
    Nice looking aircraft.

Can someone please tell me who Thomas Cook is!

    Thomas cook
    Thomson
    Thomas fly

    and some others

NIce but what is SFB. Can we just teach each other but once in a while stating what the 3 digit code means?
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

    Nice catch Senga!

Thomas Cook is a British owned tour company that operates charters as well as scheduled flights. Thomas Cook had a hold over Condor for a period of time but has since sold their share.

    Thomas Cook operates A320s, 757-300s, and A330-200s.

    True,
MCO, ORL, SFB are the main three.
SFB is a Satellite airport in the Orlando area. Its Orlando-Sanford International Airport and is about 15 miles NE of downdown Orlando.
Its where the Delta Connection Academy Flight School that I attend is located.

It hosts several Eurocharters and a few Domestic airlines.
Here are a few some of the Eurocharters and other internaitonal local arrvals.

As Gordon and Senga noted, MCO is Orlando - Orlando International Airport to be exact. "Why MCO?", you are probably wondering. Until the mid-1970s, it was McCoy AFB, for a number of years home to B-52s and KC-135s. Now there's the place to be as a SAC-trained warrior - sure beats Minot, ND

Senga, I told ya that you'd start to see the airport picking up! It gets into full swing next month when you should see the following on TH, FR, SA (and to a lesser extent on SU, MO):

    4 Travel City/Excel 743/742
    2 Thomas Cook A332
    2 Monarch A332
2-3 MyTravel A332 (used to get 767s also)
    2 First Choice 767
    2-3 Thomson 767

This is beside the FlyGlobespan and Icelandair sked service they now have. Monarch used to be the first one in at around noon with everything in by 6pm. Everything is usually out of there by 8pm except for 2 of the 747s which linger on. The 742's they used to bring in would always have MX issues and stick around until 11 or midnight. They were always good for some easy overtime.

Thomas Cook was the owner/founder of a travel agent in the UK.

He started the first inclusive tours by rail and later by air.

To slightly correct Gordon, the company was acquired by C & N Touristik, who also owned Condor. The owner of C & N Touristik is now KarlstadtQuelle, who are the sole owners having bought out the stake owned by Lufthansa.

The A330 you saw was originally operated by JMC, named after Thomas Cook's son, John Mason Cook.

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks for the info guys,
Yea those Euro charter have a really messy business. This airline buying that airline that airline taken over those 2 while getting renamed etc etc.

Rich I noticed the travel City, excel 747-300s....they seem to have 2 others I have sene lately
A all white one and a white one with a red tail and white engines. (along with the normal one in the full TCD colors.
I wish they would repaint them into something meaningful.
