My model club, the Long Island Scale Model Society, held our annual show today in Freeport. Since I've become something of the official club photographer, I spent most of the day shooting the models on display. I've done this in the past, but this time, in addition to candid shots around the room, I set up a "photo station" to take more formal shots of selected models. Here are a handful from today. On the whole, it turned out well, and I learned some things I'll do differently next time. And there's an outside chance one of my pictures may end up in Sunday's Newsday.
