Are these parks for 400mm lenses only or would a 300 suffice?

You should be ok with 300 at Inwood, I shot Pink Delta and I do believe it was at 250MM. When I get home I will verify.

Just looked at some of the stuff I shot before the A380 came in, and most of the bigger stuff (777s) were shot at 250-275mm. Couple of 757s were in the 325mm range, and I was all the way to 400mm on a 738. You should be OK with a 300mm zoom, although if anything is going to 22R, that may be a stretch.

Actually Mark Pink Delta was 300mm and I could have zoomed a tad more so you can manage the 757s and the heavies will be easier.
