    JetBlue starts at HPN

I was looking at the HPN website and noticed that eventhough JetBlue starts 3/26 they are not listed on the airline page. I contacted them and was told they had not had permission to list JetBlue on there.

I am waiting for the answer as to whether its the airport management or JetBlue?

Delta Connection is not yet listed on the website of SWF and they announced flights last month to ATL starting in May.

New York airports websites are not exactly the road runner in airport websites. JFK still has Biman Bangladesh on their airline list.

I'd say it will show up soon.

HPN will also be reconfiguring the ticket counters, security checkpoint and security baggage areas starting next week in anticipation of the increased flight loads.

There's going to be a lot less room in the lobby!!! :P

What I still find difficult to understand is exactly what are the HPN authorities going to do about parking? Before Jet Blue and AirTran arrived the car park was very full and there is no overflow to go to like SWF has.

I see that the Bus line is running hourly from MTA White Plains station to HPN and takes 45 mins due to stops at Business Parks?

I have no idea what I am meant to do if I arrive at airport and car Park is full?

You can always just park over by the FBOs and take the shuttle around to the terminals :D. Just a trick of the airport.

I see a major expansion at HPN coming in the next few years. Bigger terminal might be in the works...don't think they will extend the runway though, noise abatement conflicts. All an extended runway will do is welcome larger aircraft.

I'm looking forward to see JetBlue operate out of HPN. It will hopefully keep AirTran in check and bring ticket costs down overall.

Nothing will ever happen with any of the runways for a long long time, though they may expand the terminals which would require the relocation of an FBO or two to accomplish that successfully. Parking does get really tight sometimes, but as Jordan suggested earlier, my dad and I park at Panorama only because that is where he is based (and where I rent).

Thought I should mention that Delta Connection has finally been added to the SWF website and jet Blue has been added to the HPN website.

As of 03:00 of March 29th (yes, I was there the whole night) HPN has a new checkpoint. One lane was added and the entire checkpoint moved into the lobby between the two escalators. The queuing area extends into the baggage claim area. Secondary screening areas were enlarged and some room given back to the post security waiting area.

It is a 10 lb. in a 5 lb. bag situation...

Yeah, pick and choose, which flight deserves to make it in the air?
