    Emirates 201/202 Upgraded to 777-300ER June 1st

Starting June 1st Emirates 201/202 will be upgraded from an A340-500 to a 777-300ER.

    DXB-JFK ETA 14:40
    JFK-DXB ETD 23:00

Great news since we loose the 777-300ER to an A340-500 on the Hamburg flight.

By the way this looks permanent.

Thanks for the info, now I'm confused. The calendar here says that in April "Two of Emirates' current JFK-HAM flights (EK205/206 and EK 201/202) will switch from the 777-300ER to the A340-500." That can't be right, since 201/202 is one of the DXB flight numbers, but is the end result that both DXB nonstops are going to be 777 but the HAM is A340? Or am I missing something?

PS FYI pic at left is EK 777-300ER "original" business class seat, wide and comfy with alot of legroom but not lie-flat so it's apparently already being replaced with something more elaborate. The aircraft in the pic did have the mood lighting and ICE system. And nicely groomed young FAs.

I give them no more than 6 months to make another change. Any other takers?

EK205/206 is switching from the 777-300ER to the A340-500. So as of June there will only be a daily A340-500 instead of 2xdaily A340-500.
