    Aerolineas Argentinas at JFK....

    Hi everyone,

I just wanted to see if anybody has any insight as to whats up with Aerolineas Argentinas!!

I've noticed since they resumed service here last November that they've been using the B747-200 arriving around noon and departing around 3:30pm. Recently, I heard that they changed equipment to the A340-200 and the flight now arrives at 7:20am and departs at 6:45pm. Can anybody confirm this?

    - Josh

I believe the 7:20 am and 6:45 pm arrival and departure is close to their old arrival and departure time before they stopped flights to JFK.

But this looks like the schedule they are now running on.

    Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Josh, you're right except that you have the equipment backwards. They started with the A340 and then started bringing in the 742 a bit.

As of last week the schedule they where running in was a 12:30 pm arrival with a 4:00 pm departure.

I noticed that the flight on the 747-200 had to stop in MIA on the way back which might have had something to do with the A340-200 being put back on the route.

When Aerolineas Argentinas announced they were going to come back to JFK they said all flights would be with A340-200 aircraft.
