    JFK spotting 2/4/07 anyone???

    Hi everyone,

I would LOVE to go spotting tomorrow, but a few of my buddies who I have spot with before are busy and can't go. I just wanted to see if anyone is planning to go to JFK tomorrow and could perhaps allow me to tag along with them cuz I don't have a car! :(

I've just moved to NYC 3 weeks ago, and I've been hoping to meet some more guys from this site...so...spotting tomorrow would be a fantastic opportunity! I live in the lower financial district, so I'd be able to meet anyone wherever the subway goes really. So...how bout it?? Please post, or feel free to PM me! :D

Even if it was not supposed to be partly cloudy out I'm not sure I would want to go--it was really, really cold today. Just a few seconds with my gloves off and I felt my fingers go numb.

But if you go out have fun and here's hoping to minimal wind.

k...so...I went out by myself and was surprised to see hardly anyone the whole day! It was nice to run into Matt S. though. Shooting in the wind was kinda tough, even with IS. So maybe that's why I only got a few good ones from the whole day. It was bitterly cold too, but I couldn't complain thx to 4 layers of pants and the biggest moFo of a jacket you've ever seen!! I think it was worth it in the end...check it out:

Wow beautiful shots Josh! I love the Royal Jordanian.

    I guess you realized a 767 counts as a heavy? ;)

hahah. Gordon, I had always realized it! my standards are very clear:

    a) foreign
    b) heavy

I'll take cases A and B by themselves, but if something meets both criteria, then it's all goooood :P

You got SP-LOB! I need that so badly; the -200's are the best looking 76's in the LOT livery. Great to see the TAM second daily coming in. Good show mate.

It seems like the 767-200 is coming on Sunday's now so I say there is a fair chance you could catch her.

The Miami Air 738's are a grab! That 747 at T1 is hot, it's got that something, I stared at it for like 2 minutes.

Is that second Miami Air new colors for them, or just an alternate color scheme? I've caught the first one several times at FRG, but haven't seen the other colors yet. Nice shots!
