Aircraft apparently encounters trouble while attempting to land in Baghdad
BREAKING NEWS

ANKARA, Turkey - A Turkish news agency reported on Tuesday that a cargo plane carrying 30 Turkish workers crashed during descent at an airport near Baghdad, killing three, injuring 27.

“The Antonov-26 plane left Turkey this morning and left radar screens some 60 miles away from Baghdad. It may have crashed or had difficulties trying to land,” Cahit Kirac, governor of Adana province from where the plane left, told CNN Turk television.

The Turkish foreign ministry, cited by Reuters, said that as many as 30 workers were killed, but there was no confirmation of that report.
