    Aviation joke with photos

A C-130 was lumbering along when a cocky F-16 flashed by. The jet jockey decided
    to show off.

The fighter jock told the C-130 pilot, "Watch this!" and promptly went into a barrel roll followed by a steep climb. He then finished with a sonic boom as he broke the sound barrier.

The F-16 pilot asked the C-130 pilot what he thought of that?

The C-130 pilot said, "That was impressive, but watch this!"

The C-130 droned along for about 5 minutes and then the C-130 pilot came back on and said "What did you think of that?"

Puzzled, the F-1 6 pilot asked, "What the hell did you do?"

The C-130 pilot chuckled. "I stood up, stretched my legs, went to the back, took a piss, then got a cup of coffee and a cinnamon bun."

When you are young and foolish - speed and flashy may be a good thing.
When you get older and smarter - comfort and dull is not such a bad thing!!
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Cute and makes its point. Back in the '80s when I was a college freshman I did a semester of AFROTC as a walk on, and I remember the detachment commander, a Col. Laurier who had flown both the F-111 and some larger aircraft , used to say that "flyin' big airplanes is like drivin' a bus."

Cute, I've heard several versions of this, including the F-4 & B-52, where the BUFF shuts down two engines...

lol... heard both version before, incuding one where the C-130 shuts down engines as well.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Does that mean an F-16 can't shut down its engines in flight?
I'm learning to fly, around the clouds. But what goes up must come down. - Tom Petty

That's "engine" as in single engine - yes, you can shut it down in flight, but it gets awfully quiet when you do...
