    Pics from JFK 12/24

Well it looks like Santa came to JFK for a few of us today. Nick, Eric, Josh, and Senga were out today and I think we were all pretty happy with the results of the day. The light was smashing, the variety outstanding and we have a new spot for 31R. SO LONG COSTCO!!! Yes Nick you found it, happy.... lol

Yes a great day indeed. I find it funny that last year after I got Air India 747 from that spot you said it sucked now you love it! FLIP FLOPPER!

I have only edited the 707 here it is in the queue. This is the plane involved with the overrun with Bon Jovi BTW. Nice catch indeed.

Nice job catching the Air Jamaica A340 you wanted. The Atlas and Singapore Cargo bank shots are great.

Here's the World Cargo. I experimented with a 1600 wide edit.

I went out to JFK first and didn't see a lot of movement so I left for LGA (smart). Nothing there either. I just got three shots the whole 2hrs I was in between airports. Also, I left my cell at home (smart 2) and I thought that they changed RWY's in JFK.

is that a fuel dump from atlas or just condensation? i'm still a little frozen and jetlagged...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Great shots everyone! Loving the Jamaica, El Al Cargo, Singapore and of course, Rangiroa!

Whoa, what's with that Altas fuel dumping? Oh my gosh, it looks like that stuff came raining down on you??! Did it rain down on you?!! Are you guys OK?

Not to worry though, not very terribly flammable.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Why would they be dumping fuel right after takeoff? Must be something else, right?

No that was def fuel Matt as soon as it rotated it was coming out of that wing.. It was so cool. If I get some time I will go to liveatc and try to find the communications.

it looks like that stuff came raining down on you??!
Nahh that fuel vaporizes way before it gets to the ground.

There's a fuel vent out at the wing tips, it's just a little overflow coming out.
