Both are good months, Feb will provide you with the wonderful winter light and almost no haze. March can warm up pretty quick and starts to get into the rainy season.
[edit] now booked on jetBlue for March 3/4 - anyone give some recommendations for hotels that might be close to either JFK or LGA? Will I need to rent a car to get around?
