JFK 12/18 Recap (My first banking shots!)

Considering today was my first day off of school for Christmas break and I never get a chance to spot on Monday's my dad and I headed out for JFK early this morning despite the bad wx. We got to JFK and hit Howards Beach for my first banking shots using my dad's new D200 and his 70-400mm lense. We then headed over to Burger King and then hit the road.

Please exuse the quality as the weather and light was pretty bad!

She did not want to bank for me!

There are more shots to come from Burger King including Habitat for Humanity and KLM Asia.

The rest will be up later this afternoon, my computer needs a Photoshop upgrade in order to edit NEF files which are what the rest are.

I guess these shots weren't very good since I haven't gotten any comments, was the wx that bad? ;)

Actually they are great pictures but the capture is very low quality due to the lack of light. Hell that JAL could have been a winner if you had sun behind you. Chalk it up to some good practice and get out with some good sun next time.

Definately some nice shots it's just too bad the weather didn't cooperate. The Japan Airlines shot is really nice!
I can't wait to get back out there myself.

I also noticed that C-130 was still there Steve. Did you ever find out who's it was?

Excellent shots btw! I'm going to be doing a lot more spotting at HoBe from now on, those bank angles are killer!

Yeah. They sent two over along with a RAM 757-200, RAM 747-400, and a Morocco Gulfsteam.

    The C-130s are CNA-ON and CNA-OL.
