    Tripod for Nikon D70

Hey guys! I've had my Nikon D70 for a little over a year now. I'm still learning alot about the digital SLR, so I need some help in deciding on a tripod. In the store, I've seen "Tripod w/o heads", "Tripod legs w/removable heads", etc. I'm confused, lol. I think the removable head enables you to use the tripod for more than one type of camera?

Well anyway, I'd like to have this tripod possibly by next weekend. All help is appreciated. Here's a website too that I'm looking at, since a friend of mine works there and can give me a discount:

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
