Spotting Question

Hi everyone, this is my first post here, nice to meet everyone. I have a Canon PowerShot A95 with a 2X telephoto lens. It is not a nice equipment, however I still want to do some spotting around the tri-state area? I know Plainview Park is good for my carmea? Any other suggestions? Also, how often is runway 4 used for arrival?

Welcome to the site!

There are quite a few spots that you might be able ot get some pictures that you enjoy from our area.

Planeview Park is a good spot for LGA. I would recommend trying out the Costco parking lot at JFK (listed on the spotting maps on this site) to see how well you can do there.

I'm not too sure how much your camera's magnification will afford, but the best thing to do is to take a shot.

Hi Phi, Thanks. Here is some info of my DC

The Focal Length is 38-114mm, f/2.8 (W) - 4.9(T) and I have a 2X tele lens.

Sometime I just get confused with this focal length and the 35mm equivalent focal length when I am trying to look at some spotting guide from the internet.
