    I love crosswind videos. That was the first time I was ever actually impressed by that plane. The crosswind takeoff was pretty cool, too.

    Speaking with a Qantas Airbus captain about it, the airbus is designed to thud down when landing. It appears to be a hard landing, but onboard it's quite smooth. The same captain had migrated from 747's. When he tried to baby it down (as he would the 747), the Airbus would fall onto the runway and the landing would feel bad.
