    Gosh that is disturbing and horrifying to hear about.

    I always had this fear of elevators, this certainly doesn't help my case!

    The mere thought of this accident is very gruesome. I wonder if this was some kind of stunt?

    As bad as elevator surfing gone bad.

    Had a few in my former life. Also had a few space cases. That's when someone tries to jump on a train between cars, the trains moves, they slip and get stuck between the car and the platform.

    Oneof those was just ont he news the other day.

    From what I understand, it's pretty common, but usually doesn't get much press.

    The real bad ones are when they stay stuck between the car and platform and spin crushing most of their hip and ribs. Had one on Queens Plaza who was severed at the hip. He lived for a while until Transit ESU lifted the train with airbags.
