The Minutemen Project is a group of civilians who voluntarily patrol the United States-Mexico border. They were invited by the Columbia College Republicans to speak on Columbia's campus. There was a large gathering of protesters outside the speech as well as the protest inside.

This video is very interesting, listen to the one girl at the end, she says, "That it is not about his free speech, but, their free speech, so, they shut him up" She clearly, does not understand what free speech is all about.
