    Goodbye Delta 737-200

Just in time for their goodbye, I uploaded a shot I took last year on September 11:

I will really miss these birds; I was disappointed when they were taken off the CVG-LGA route, but that was a sign they were soon going to be taken out the fleet.

Very nice shot indeed! More and more of the classics are going away.

Sooooooooooo long pocket rockets I love them. Sad to see them leave the majors all together now in the mainland USA.

    OLD Metal,Black smoke, Noise

the ranks of the retro jets are getting thinner all the time, thank God for DHL DC-8s,NW DC-9s, CCP,FedEX,UPS, and other sundry 727s, and everybody still operating Classic 747s !
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

Very sad indeed. I'm going to miss the cigar engines.
