Mini-DV Video Camera Help

I know this is a bit of a favor, but I have at least half a dozen Mini-DVs packed with aviation footage from LGA and JFK from around 2002 or so.

My Vid Cam died, and I have no way to load up any more footage onto the comptuer with which to share with all of you folks. ;)

Would anyone actually be willing to part with their Mini-DV video camera so I can use it as a Mini-DV VCR to load my tapes?

It might be for a couple weeks or so.
