Working at the AA terminal, I can tell you they don't really seem that busy. Some days they come in pretty regularly, ie every other hour, but like Tuesday they seemed to hardly show up at all.
It seems like a great idea and I really hope it succeeds.
they don't use a callsign, most flights are conducted under VFR conditions if possible. they just use thier tail number. on days when it's IFR, well i don't know what they do then.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
I saw N150US at Hartford/Brainard Airport (HFD) on April 24, 2006. She looks very nice. 8)
