Recapturing the Dream: A Design History of New York's JFK Airport

Does anybody happen to know why this book is unavailable in the U.S. The only place I can find it is Amazon.UK.

I haven't heard of this book...hopefully it'll be here soon!

Another fantastic book is The Airport: Runway Days and Terminal Nights at JFK, by James Kaplan.

1990s JFK at its finest. I highly recommend it to all!

my airport planning prof had it for her class last year. we wern't able to get a copy for ourselves so she just made copies of the important stuff (about a chapter.)
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
