also, one question. I read in a PC magazine that its going to be a great improvement b/c it would use Windows Vista.
I wasnt sure what Vista was and thought it was a new XP version. But apparently not.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Time to buy a new and more powerful computer! FS is such a great program but man is it a total pig! Even as powerful as my PC is right now, I close down everything in the background just to ensure peak performance. I hope two improvements include better ATC and more realistic airports, the sqaure boxes are getting old looking.
Agreed, I hope there weather related impact to flights on ground, and ability to declare emergency, etc. I got one of theose super Dells in the summer I hope its enough!
well whatever magazine I read, PCgamer, or something, said improvements included better ATC and better ground/airport activity, cars, etc.
Hows it look Vinny?

Thanks for the heads up, Mark. Interesting stuff. The FS demo was pretty lame though, looked no different from current FS.

damn, and i'm just getting used to FS9...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
Err, those shots are nice, but they're no better than the shots released for FS 2004, and the demo at the CES last night didn't seem any smoother than FS 2004 either. Hopefully they will make bigger improvements in flight and ATC realism, and make it easier to install new planes/flight plans/adventures, etc.
