    The Length of CRJ-900's

A couple of us were at LGA the other day and started tlakin about CRJ-900s. We all agreed that the long body just doesn't look right with those tiny wings and tiny engies.

I don't see how they pull it off.

It is probably the strangest looking modern passenger aircraft in the sky today. The one advantage and reason they could stretch this bird out so much is the engines. The CRJ's engines have far more thrust then are required for the 50 seats version. The ERJ could never be stretched like this with the engines it has.
